Room is clean, shower is amazing, place us quite except for a couple trains at night but you deal with train noise at every motel in Lovelock. Staff was friendly. Honestly, for the price I don't think you will find anything better or even close to this nice.
We stayed overnight here after a hairy drive over Donner Pass last week and were happy to find a reasonably priced place to lay our heads. The street sign was not lit, so we kind of got lost at first, but righted ourselves in fairly short order. Anyhoo, this is a vintage motor-lodge style property that has retained a lot of its old-school vibe. The room was relatively clean, but on closer inspection, I could tell it hadn't been vacuumed. The wi-fi signal was really strong, the strongest I'd ever encountered in a motel - go figure, huh? The bed was comfortable and hubster and I both had a good night's sleep. This place is fine for a quick overnight, but don't know as I'd want to stay here for much longer than that. Being a former motel maid myself, I'd start noticing stuff people didn't do right.
I found food leftover in the microwave. It was fairly spacey and the beds were pretty comfortable. Bathroom had a tissue spot inside the sink.
We stayed there several months ago as an emergency have to stop or I am going to fall asleep at the wheel kind of stop. It was quiet, pet friendly, but whatever you do, do not smoke in the rooms. If you don't mind being charges a $200 cleaning fee from a casino, please be my guest.
Cute little place, comfy bed, free WiFi, shower could have been hotter. Free breakfast, (waffles cereal coffee juice)
