My boyfriend is hard to please. He only stays in up scale hotels and resorts. This was his first motel. I was pretty worried about bringing him here. It's safe to say this motel has exceeded my expectations and my boyfriend hasn't complained at all. I got a little scared when we pulled up. There was only one car in the lot and all the other motels were packed. The warm welcome by the employee (or owner- not sure) made me feel better. I was very pleased to find out the room was only $40 (less than all the others). Things got even better when we walked into a very clean room with a working air conditioner, hot water and comfy beds. It's dated but that's what you get at a small town motel. Well worth the price. I highly recommend this motel for anyone passing through.
Tommy that runs the place is awsome and so nice
This was the most embarrassing excuse of a motel I have ever been to. The dirty yellow stains seeped across the sheets while the room came with a complimentary fly swatter. The mini fridge does not work and you wonder when the next break in is going to happen from the meth head next door. I am starting to believe that I'm stuck in an inbred infested town till dawn.
Classic "ma and pa" business with the best rate we found in town. The owners, a nice old couple called Smoky and Dianna, went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We had a fridge, microwave, TV, and high-speed wifi. The place is about 90 years old, the owners explained, with many renovations done recently. The only negative was that the room had only a shower, not a tub.
It's what you'd expect for $38. Clean, but nothing fancy. The towels were really small and clearly old, but I have no real complaints.
